Jamia Milia Isamia's Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Branch, Faculty of Engineering and Technology organised its Technical fest "ENCOMIUM-2009" on the 3rd and 4th of October. Various events, such as c++ quiz,LAN- gaming,Futsal,Group discussions etc., were conducted during the fest which witnessed massive participation from the most reputed institutes around Delhi.
For us, the most awaited event was "Robo Wars". It is a robotics event in which the mightiest robots are against each other, competing to overpower the rival's robot. Though the event did not witness much participation, watching the robots itself was very entertaining and inspiring.
Even though we were not a part of the fest, the desire to compete with the technical minds around, encouraged us to come back next year... with a team from ASET... a working robot.. n some trophies... ;-)
